Teacher Training Placements
If you are a graduate who knows you can have a positive impact on the aspirations and learning of young people as they prepare for life, then a teaching career could be the right path for you.
At Burford School, we are particularly interested in offering teacher training placements to postgraduate applicants in the following subject areas for 2024-25:

Volunteer with us
From time to time we are in need of voluntary help with such things as maintaining The Acre, our smallholding; supporting our Duke of Edinburgh expeditions; or acting as an Independent Listener. If you feel you have something to offer and would like to volunteer, please contact our HR Manager.
Sharing expertise
We are grateful to the many members of our parent, carer and local community who come into the school to share their expertise with our students and open their eyes to what the future might hold. If you would like to get involved, please contact our Careers Lead.
Join our Business Breakfasts
If you are a member of the local business community, we warmly invite you to join us for our regular Burford Business Breakfasts.
You will have the opportunity to network with others in the business world as well as members of senior staff and students over coffee and breakfast. There will be a short presentation made at each Breakfast by a local businessperson. Breakfasts are held between 7.30 am and 8.45 am in our Library.
