Library
Our dedicated Library houses thousands of books to support reading for both pleasure and the curriculum up to and beyond A-Levels.
We encourage our students to join in a range of reading-related activities and events. We also have our own Library Reading Programme to encourage the wider reading of fiction and non-fiction books.
Our Librarian runs a number of events throughout the school year including reading-related challenges, quizzes, competitions and book fairs as well as book award schemes, including the Yoto Carnegie Award and Borzoi Book Club.
Students who take part in our Creative Writing Club have the opportunity to learn more about and explore various aspects of creative writing through regular workshops and attend an annual writing retreat.
Students are also invited to apply to become Student Librarians and attend author visits and workshops.
