Samuel W Pantomine (3)

A massive well done to Year 9 student Samuel W who recently performed in Oxford Playhouse's annual pantomime, which was staged from November to January this year.

Samuel undertook weeks of rehearsals and participated in 40 performances of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ as a young ensemble member, performing various characters – Nimbus (a cloud person), a magic bean and Lewis (who alongside Morse were the village police officers of Oxenford).

Reflecting on his involvement in the pantomime, Samuel commented:

I loved my time performing in ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.  It was a great experience and I’ve made some amazing friends along the way.

It was incredible to work alongside the adult actors and all the backstage staff. I have learnt a lot and, even though it was exhausting having two performances a day, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see it.

Samuel is currently rehearsing for this year's school musical ‘Kinky Boots’.
