Run with very much a family feel, our caring and supportive Boarding House is a home from home to just over a hundred students from the United Kingdom and around the world.
We are always delighted to meet prospective families and show them around the Boarding Department as well as the school.
We welcome boarders from overseas, provided that they have an appointed UK guardian who can act as a twenty-four-hour point of contact for the student, parents or carers and the school. All boarders must hold full UK Citizenship, a UK Residency Permit or Residential Status in the UK. In order to cope with the academic and social demands of life in the Boarding House, students must be confident English speakers. Tuition in English as an Additional Language (EAL) can be arranged for an additional fee.
As a non-denominational school, we welcome students of all religious beliefs or none, and offer the opportunity for each boarder to practice their own faith.
Early application for boarding places is recommended due to high demand.
Current boarding fees are £11,250 per annum (£3,750 per term). These are invoiced on a termly basis or, if requested, can be paid for annually, in which case a discount applies.
A deposit of £1,850 is payable on acceptance of a boarding place. This is held until the student’s final boarding term.
Lessons in EAL or Music are charged separately.
From September 2024, boarding fees will be £12,300 per annum (£4,100 per term). The deposit payable on acceptance of a boarding place will remain the same.
