Year 9 Geography Enrichment Day

On Wednesday 24 January 2024, our Year 9 geography students had the exciting opportunity to delve into the current geographical issues facing the United Kingdom, as part of their dedicated Geography Enrichment Day.

Students explored key issues such as population growth, resource management, climate change and biodiversity, amongst many others. After conducting in-depth research into these issues in small groups, students collaborated to create solutions for them. The day culminated with students presenting their findings and proposed solutions to their fellow class members.

Organised and led by Geography Teacher Mrs Cotham, students found it an engaging and enjoyable experience to apply their theoretical knowledge to real issues affecting the nation in which they live.
