Every year we welcome many students from within the school, from other schools and abroad, all of whom enrich the Sixth Form experience.

Our considerable resources and committed staff members enable us to fulfil our main aim: to help you reach your potential.

If you are interested in joining our Sixth Form, please check you meet our criteria and minimum entry requirements before completing an application form. All students who apply are requested to attend an interview before being offered a place.

The Sixth Form September 2025 application form is now closed. However, if you wish to apply after the deadline, please complete the enquiry form below. Boarding Experience – Ticket Option A

We are delighted to offer a new ticket for our Sixth Form Open Evening: the Boarding Experience.
This exclusive option invites you to dine with our boarding community, meet the Heads of Boarding, and enjoy a guided tour of the Boarding House.

The evening concludes with our 6.30 pm Sixth Form presentation, where you’ll hear from our Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form, and student leaders. [Book your place here]

Ticket Option B – 5.15 pm Talk
Begin your evening with our 5.15 pm Sixth Form presentation, featuring talks from our Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form, and student leaders. Afterwards, meet subject teachers and explore our A Level courses, enrichment opportunities, and life in the Sixth Form. [Book your place here]

Ticket Option C – 6.30 pm Talk
Join our 6.30 pm presentation, with insights from our Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form, and Heads of Boarding and School. Following the talk, meet our teachers and discover the full breadth of Sixth Form life at Burford. [Book your place here]

Our application deadline is early January.

We also warmly welcome individual visits during the school day to tour our Sixth Form Centre and meet members of our Sixth Form team.
